Manchester City star James Milner who is out of contract in the coming summer has demanded a four deal with the reigning Premier League Champions. The English International who has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool over the past few months is refusing to sign a new contract with City as per Simon Mullock of the Daily Mirror.
Italian Media OutletTMW who cited British sources claim that Milner has rejected a contract of worth more than €5m in salary. It is believed that City have offered the player a three year contract but Milner reportedly wants it to be extended to four years.
Milner would be a fascinating prospect for any English side given his versatility and an immense work rate. Liverpool Echo have also claimed that Italian side Inter Milan are interested in the player with Roberto Mancini in charge of the San Siro side.
Mirror also claim that Milner will extend is contract if he is given a four year deal. It is reported that City are offering the English International a three-year package worth £80,000-a-week. A tweet yesterday night from the club’s official Twitter handle would also come as an assurance.
