Everton have extensively assessed Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Leon Bailey and Villarreal’s Samuel Chukwueze, garnering positive feedback.
According to The Athletic, they both feature on the Toffees’ shortlist this summer as the club look to strengthen their attack.

Everton manager Rafa Benitez needs quality attackers if he wants to mount a strong top-six challenge next season.
Bailey and Chukwueze would be massive additions if they are brought in.
The Jamaican international bagged 14 goals and 10 assists in 38 appearances last term and has everything it takes to light Goodison Park up.
The 23-year-old has often been linked with a Premier League move, and joining Everton could be perfect for him.
Chukwueze won the Europa League with the Spanish side last term, and the Nigerian’s pace always makes him a threat to defenders.
He ended last season with five goals and six assists in 39 games and could maximise his huge potential under Benitez’s tutelage.
Chukwueze needs to work on his finishing, and the Toffees boss knows one or two things about making players better, so a deal would make sense for both parties.
Everton are not likely to get both or either of them cheaply, but spending on transfers has never been a problem for owner Farhad Moshiri.
The Iranian businessman will be willing to back his new boss, and it would be no surprise to see both players sign for the club this summer.
