Manchester United have had a poor season thus far but David Moyes will be given a hefty transfer war-chest in the summer to sculpt the squad according to his own taste.
Central midfield remains one of the key areas in which reinforcement is needed, and Moyes is surely looking to add a few quality names there, and Bayern Munichās Toni Kroos reportedly tops his wish list.
In January, we reported that Moyes made a scouting trip to Germany, where he was escorted to the Borussia Park stadium by Kroosā agent to watch Bayern’s win over Monchengladbach,Ā with the Scot alerted to the contract stand-off between the player and his Munich bosses.
The 24-year-oldās current contract runs out at the end of next season, and Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge admitted that talks over a new deal have so far failed to progress.
The Metro reported a few days back that Manchester United areĀ ready to offer Toni Kroos a deal worth Ā£250,000-a-week to convince the midfielder move to Old Trafford, though it looks likely that they will not be able to offer Champions League football next season.
