Irish horse racing trainer, Henry De Bromhead, is back for this year’s Cheltenham aiming to train a few winners at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival. He is one of the leading trainers in racing, and has nine runners on Day 2. Read on to find out which horses Henry De Bromhead has running on Day 2 of the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

Henry De Bromhead With Nine Runners On Cheltenham Day 2

Henry De Bromhead has never been the top trainer at the Cheltenham Festival but has lots of excellent horses running at this year’s meeting. However, the Irish trainer has won the Gold Cup the past two years with Minella Indo and A Plus Tard respectively.

Plus, he had also won the last two Champion Hurdles with Honeysuckle, prior to this year where she ran in the Mares’ Hurdle instead.

The 50-year-old racing trainer will be hoping to replicate this form with a stellar showing at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

De Bromhead has 18 winners to his name in the Cheltenham Festival over the years., not including this year This includes two Gold Cup’s, two Champion Hurdles and three Queen Mother Champion Chases to name but a few.

On Day 2, Henry De Bromhead has nine runners on Wednesday 15th March. These runners include Gin On Lime, who is probably the Irish trainers most likely winner on Day 2 around the famous Cheltenham track.

The two-time Gold Cup winner with Minella Indo (2021) and A Plus Tard (2022) also has eight more runners along with Gin On Lime on Day 2.

The Irish racehorse trainer has plenty of big chances throughout the Cheltenham Festival with the likes of Envoi Allen in the Ryanair Chase and of course A Plus Tard and Minella Indo in the Gold Cup to name but a few.

He also has a few outside chances on Day 2 too at Cheltenham this year, with the likes of Amirite in the Ballymore, Watch House Cross in the Coral Cup and four horses running in the Grand Annual Handicap Chase.

De Bromhead is also priced at 25/1 as the fourth favourite to be the 2023 Cheltenham Festival Top Trainer.
