Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois has confirmed that he is unsure about his future at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian claimed that he has won a trophy in almost every season over the last few years and is very disappointed about how this season turned out for the blues.
When asked if he will consider leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, Courtois said: “I don’t know”.
“I still have a contract for three years so we’ll see what Chelsea want too.”
Courtois has been linked with a move back to Spain and his comments will fuel further speculations that he wants out of the club.
Superstar Eden Hazard has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer. The Belgian has been very poor this season and has been criticised severely.
It remains to be seen if any club is willing to meet Chelsea’s demands for the Belgian duo. The Premier League outfit are set to demand a combined total close to 200 million pounds for two of their best players.
The London Evening Standard claim that Chelsea value Courtois at £73 million and it is highly unlikely that any club will pay that much for a keeper. Although there is no doubt that Courtois is one of the three best keepers in world football alongside Neuer and De Gea.
It would be a damaging blow for Chelsea to lose two of their best players ahead of a transition season. Antonio Conte is expected to take over at Stamford Bridge this summer and it seems that there is quite a challenge waiting for him in England.
