Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been linked with a move away from Anfield after the Merseyside giants failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The Brazilian midfielder has had an impressive season personally and is a target for Paris Saint-Germain.
According to latest reports, Paris Saint-Germain have already opened talks with the player’s representatives and are willing to pay around 60 million Euros on the South American midfielder.
Coutinho is still very young and is already playing at a high level right now and even though that is steep price, the French champions would surely get the value for their investment in future. The Liverpool midfielder is already one of the best attacking midfielders in England and is destined to be a world class player once his inconsistencies are sorted.
Recently Jurgen Klopp labelled him as ‘a genius of a player’.
Liverpool have been linked with the likes of Gotze and Dembele over the last few weeks and if Coutinho leaves, they will be forced to spend on another attacking midfielder.
Furthermore, the last thing Klopp would want ahead of his first full season at Liverpool is to lose his best player. It is unlikely that FSG will sanction a sale against Klopp’s wishes and therefore PSG will find it difficult to land him unless they submit a ridiculous offer, one that is too good to turn down.
