Tottenham shocked the world as the European giants and current UEFA Champions League holders Inter Milan were brought down by a certain Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Rafael van der Vaart. The best Rafael Benitez could do was leave Diego Milito on the bench and rant about Liverpool and Roy Hodgson in front of the press.

Tottenham now sit atop the Group A with seven points and ahead on goal difference from their last night’s opponents, Inter. FC Twente is still in with a shout if either of the leaders are to cough it up.
