A selection of Manchester United fans on Twitter have reacted positively after learning that Marcus Rashford has avoided a serious ankle injury.
The Englishman produced another impressive showing for the Red Devils last weekend, registering an assist in the 2-0 derby win over Manchester City.
Rashford suffered a knock to his ankle when he made a terrific recovery run to deny Riyad Mahrez a potential goalscoring opportunity.
He was substituted in the 73rd minute with a concern over his left ankle and hobbled off the playing field while taking off his boot.
A report from The Telegraph has now revealed that Rashford has avoided ankle ligament damage after the scans were conducted on Monday.
The same publication added that there is still swelling and pain in the ankle which is likely to see Rashford miss out on the Europa League tie against AC Milan.
A few of the club’s faithful were relieved on learning that Rashford has not suffered any significant injury, and here are some of the reactions.

Rashford has had another fine campaign for the Red Devils, registering 18 goals and 10 assists from 43 games across all competitions.
He has been the only player who has played every game this term, and his fitness levels have been impressive, given he has made a quick recovery from knocks.
However, the latest setback may keep him out of action for a while, and he is a major doubt to face the Rossoneri in the first leg of the Europa League last 16 tie on Thursday.
Even if the ankle swelling subsides, it is unlikely that Solskjaer will risk the 23-year-old for the midweek European clash at Old Trafford.
