Liverpool FC have officially unveiled the brand new Liverpool 2016-17 home kit manufactured by New Balance on May 9, 2016 at a special live event on Monday night.
The Liverpool 16-17 home shirt is one again sponsored by Standard Chartered. Four first team players – Jordan Henderson, Philippe Coutinho, Simon Mignolet, Jon Flanagan – supported by academy graduate Connor Randall and Liverpool Ladies duo Gemma Bonner and Natasha Harding were present on the live event to unveil the 2016-17 Liverpool home jersey.

The new Liverpool 2016-17 home shirt has a simplistic red base with gold design. The New Balance logo, Standard Chartered logo, and the iconic liver bid symbol are all golden shade, while the kit features a gold trim around a two-button collar.
The shorts and socks are also all-red with gold logos. The home goal keeper 16-17 shirt is lime green with black shoulder pads and white trim.

The best part of the new Liverpool 16-17 home kit is that the strip features “gradated mesh to allow for increased air movement and is completely seam-free for greater comfort and reduced friction”.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said: “This team has the winning mentality and now, with this spectacular new home kit, every player will look the part lighting up Anfield.”
