Everton could sign Denzel Dumfries for a bargain £12.8 million this summer, according to a report from Eindhoven Dagblad.
The Toffees have been heavily linked with a move to sign the PSV Eindhoven star since his fine performances at the European Championships this summer (Sport Mediaset).
The 25-year-old would be a really useful addition for Rafa Benitez this summer.
He would certainly provide stiff competition for Seamus Coleman at Goodison Park.
Everton could sign Dumfries for bargain fee
Dagblad claims that PSV are really keen to sell the Holland international and could accept a fee in the region of €15m (£12.8m).
That would represent truly brilliant value for the Toffees.
In 30 Eredivisie appearances for PSV last season, Dumfries averaged 1.5 tackles, 1.6 interceptions and 1.8 clearances per game.
He also won an average of 2.5 aerial duels per match.
The Dutchman is a top-class right-back. He is an all-action defender with energy, stamina and athleticism in abundance.
It seems to be highly likely that Dumfries will be plying his trade at Goodison Park next season.
And signing him for £12.8 million would be one of the signings of the summer, that’s for sure.
