Everton are interested in signing Argentine goalkeeper Sergio Romero this summer.
According to The Athletic, the experienced shot-stopper is in talks with the Premier League club. Everton tried to sign him last year, but their loan offer was rejected.
Romero was the third choice goalkeeper at United behind David De Gea and Dean Henderson.
He will be hoping to join a club where he can play regular first-team football, and a move to Goodison Park could be ideal for him.

The Toffees are in desperate need of an upgrade on Jordan Pickford, and Romero could challenge the England international for the starting berth.
Pickford has been error-prone for Everton, and the goalkeeping position has been a major weakness for the Merseyside outfit over the last two years.
The 96-cap Argentine international’s contract with United expires this month, and he would be an inexpensive addition to the Everton squad.
Romero has the quality and the experience to be the number one goalkeeper at Everton, and his signing could prove to be a bargain.
The 34-year-old’s arrival would allow the Toffees to direct their resources towards other areas of the squad that need strengthening.
The goalkeeper is also thought to be on the radar of Juventus and Celta Vigo.
However, he is keen on staying in the Premier League, which puts Everton in pole position to secure his services.
