Tottenham and Chelsea linked wonder-kid Christian Pulisic has spoken out about the transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Despite being only 19-years-old, Pulisic is already a key player for both Dortmund and the United States national team.
Despite still being in the early stages of his career, he already boasts 97 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund and has scored 12 goals.
He also boasts 21 appearances for the United States national team with 9 goals to his name.
He was arguably the United States best player during their failed 2018 World Cup qualification campaign and is expected to become the face of American soccer during the next four years.
He is also widely expected to become the greatest American soccer player of all-time and surpass the likes of Clint Dempsey and Landon Donovan.
Some have even predicted that he will eventually play for either Barcelona or Real Madrid at some point.
Despite all of the buzz surrounding his future, Pulisic appears to be content with being at Dortmund for now, he said as per ESPN: “I don’t pay much attention to [the rumours]. Right now, I’m very focused on Borussia Dortmund and having a great preseason so that I can earn minutes on the field this season, that’s all I’m focused on right now.”
“I want to continue to be as much of a part of the team as I can, I want to be on the field as much as I can, so I have to earn my position. I just want to continue to get better and score more goals and provide more assists.”
