Lifetime Ambition Grand National Odds
This Jessie Harrington-trained 8 year-old is another Irish runner that is certainly not without a chance in the 2023 Grand National.
He tasted the Grand National-style fences back in November, when a fine fourth in the Grand Sefton at Aintree and that experience will be an obvious plus.
Since then Lifetime Ambition has run well behind another Grand National runner The Big Dog, when second in the Troytown Chase at Navan, while was also a respectable third in the G1 John Durkan Chase to Galopin Des Champs.
The form of that run has, of course, also been franked with winner landing the 2023 Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival.
Lifetime Ambition has warmed up for the National with a spin over hurdles (3rd) at Thurles last month and this is a plus with 10 of the last 19 Aintree winners having run over the smaller obstacles earlier that season.
This will be the first run in the National for Lifetime Ambition and he’s set to carry a weight of 11st 3lbs.
Lifetime Ambition will be ridden by Sean O’Keeffe and is number 9.
