Le Milos is still only an 8 year-old and this age has done very well in the Grand National in recent years. Since 2015, we’ve seen four winners aged 8.
Trained by Dan Skelton, the horse has improved this season to win the two of his three starts, including the Coral Gold Cup (Hennessy) at Newbury back in November. Looks to have a nice racing weight too of 10st 11lbs and having won over 3m 2f looks well worth a crack at the longer Grand National trip.
Has also won 50% of his 10 chase runs, so knows how to get his head in front and despite this being his first run in the race, 12 of the last 14 Grand National winners were having their debuts in the race.
If successful, Le Milos would be giving trainer Dan Skelton his first Grand National win.
Le Milos will be ridden by Harry Skelton and is number 15.
