The Big Dog Grand National odds for 2023 sees this Irish raider popular in the betting today having already run well (3rd) in this season’s Welsh Grand National back in December.

The Big Dog Grand National Odds
From the Irish yard of Peter Fahey, The Big Dog has already run well in a National this season. He was third in the Welsh Grand National at Chepstow this season – only beaten 6 1/4 lengths.
Prior that that run he landed the Troytown Handicap Chase at Navan (watch below) in November. Does, however, need to bounce back from falling last time out in the Irish Gold Cup, but connections have given him plenty of time to get over that tumble.
This would be his debut run in the Grand National, but unlike some does have proven stamina. He’s set to carry 11st 5lbs in weight, which is what the two-time winner Tiger Roll won with in 2019.
The Big Dog will be ridden by Aidan Coleman and is number 5.

The Aintree Grand National meeting runs over three days and gets going on Thursday 13th April, with the big race – the Randox Grand National on Saturday 15th April.
