Ain’t That A Shame Grand National Odds
Racheal Blackmore become the first female jockey to win the Grand National in 2021, when she steered home Minella Times. The trainer that day was also Henry De Bromhead and the pair will team-up again in 2023 with Ain’t That A Shame.
This 9 year-old was a good winner at Gowran Park last time out (watch below), when an easy 6 lengths victor in a 2m4f chase. He’s run well over 3m too in the past, so there is every chance the longer trip of the National will be within range and with just 10st 5lbs in weight has a low burden to carry.
When Blackmore and De Bromhead win the National in 2021, Minella Times had a similar weight (10st 3lbs). Is also having his debut run in the race but is also lightly-raced for a 9 year-old (10 career runs), so could have more improvement to come.
Ain’t That A Shame is number 25.
