RICH GLORY (system – Cotai Glory geldings, all-weather)
Gelded progeny Cotai Glory have a useful record on the all-weather, landing 40 of their 246 starts (16.3% strike-rate) for a profit of £105.53 to a £1 level stake at SP. RICH GLORY finished unplaced in both starts after scoring on good to firm ground at Nottingham last summer, but has been gelded over the winter and the switch to the all-weather for the first time could bring about improvement, as could the first-time cheekpieces.
KEMPTON 7.30
HEERATTHETRACK (system – dam Jessica Ennis, all-weather)
Offspring of dam Jessica Ennis have a fantastic record on the all-weather, winning 20 of their 98 starts for a profit of £47.03 to a £1 level stake at SP. HEERATTHETRACK is the dam’s only representative who doesn’t show a profit on synthetics (two wins from 18 starts, -£8.63) but he’s been something of a slow learner and had landed his last two, at odds of 4-1 and 100-30 since the visor was re-applied, including by three and a half lengths over 7f here last time. The step back up to 1m is unlikely to be an issue.
