KAKAMORA is very difficult to win with and certainly seems to be saving something for himself at the business end of his races. The Tom George-trained seven-year-old finished 17 lengths back in sixth at Bangor last month on his return from wind surgery to take his chase record to 33333F6 (0-7). Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with DON ALVARO, impressive over course and distance last month.
Recommendation: Oppose KAKAMORA in Wincanton 2.40
CHELMSFORD 6.30
SOLDIER’S MINUTE has a superior strike-rate on the all-weather (five wins from 18 starts) compared to turf (just two wins from 29). He’s also happiest on Polytrack, with four of those wins coming at Kempton or Lingfield. The seven-year-old has been off the track since April but Keith Dalgleish does well with break-returners on the all-weather and, though yet to race here, the track should suit. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.
