In-form Warren Greatrex does well when pitching a chase debutant straight into handicap company, scoring with nine of the 36 qualifiers since the beginning of 2020 for a profit of £12.58 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those running in Class 5 company – the lowest grade of handicap chase in Britain – were seven from 19 for a profit of £17.58 (expected winners = 2.55, A/E = 2.74). JUST ONE SURF, placed in two point-to-points, needs to prove his effectiveness on good ground but still looks chancing against weak favourite TOOTHLESS, who seems better on right-handed tracks.

JUNGLE LAND (system – Karl Burke, second time out 3yos, all-weather)
Since the beginning of 2010, Karl Burke has a 19 from 79 record with his second-time out three-year-olds on the all-weather for a huge profit of £106.78 to a £1 level stake at SP. JUNGLE LAND shaped well on his debut ten days ago, finding one too good when favourite for a 6f Ayr maiden, and can get off the mark.
