Andrew bids to end the week on a high with two recommended bets/trades at Bath and Exeter on Sunday, April 7th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

EXETER 4.45

GETBAZOUTOFHERE is a 14-race maiden who can be politely descried as ‘not 100% straightforward’ but the daughter of Gentlewave hasn’t had many opportunities over fences and could be worth chancing at a nice price. She shaped well on her chase debut at Leicester in January, finishing less than seven lengths behind the winner in a 6-1 fourth of ten and was perhaps unsuited by the sharp nature of the track at Hereford next time where she was always playing catch-up (eventually pulled up) after a slow jump at the first fence. Backing all of her sire’s progeny over fences would have found 28 winners from 135 bets (20.7% strike-rate) for a profit of £28.10 to a £1 level stake at SP. Those who were having their third chase start, as Getbazoutofhere is today, are six from 15 for a profit of £20.30. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back GETBAZOUTOFHERE in Exeter 4.45

BATH 5.25

WILLINGLY can’t have the ground soft enough and Mark Usher’s mare will relish underfoot conditions when she reappears in this 5f handicap. The seven-year-old’s record on officially heavy going reads 11412 (3-5), with the latest defeat by a head in a 13-runner 5f handicap at Newmarket. She’s been off the track for 156 days and has failed to score first-time out from four attempts but the first of those (last of 12) came when 150-1 in a race won by subsequent July Cup hero Starman, the next defeat (sixth of nine) took place in a 1m contest on good to firm going, her 2022 reappearance reverse (22-1 last of eight) can also be attributed to fast ground and, last year, she wasn’t entirely disgraced when a 16-1 fourth at Leicester (6f, soft). Her prominent style could be an asset and she’s worth a small buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back WILLINGLY in Bath 5.25
