Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the afternoon jumps meeting  at Sandown Park for his two recommended bets/trades  on Friday, January 26th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

SANDOWN 1.15

Nicky Henderson’s form has dipped of late, with just one winner (11-8 shot Either Or) from his last 27 runners and it could be worth chancing a sell off SOUTHOFTHEBORDER in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. At the time of writing the six-year-old was trading at around 8-11 for this novices’ hurdle but the form of his course and distance maiden win has taken a few knocks and he was well beaten when unseating over 2m4f here last time (11-8 favourite), albeit in Grade 2 company.

Recommendation: Sell SOUTHOFTHEBORDER in Sandown 1.15

SANDOWN 4.10

WOT YOU WEARING was denied a hat-trick when runner-up to Gyllen (re-opposes today) at Taunton six weeks ago, but the winner raced wide on the better ground and may have been flattered. Wot You Wearing took the ‘swamp’ route on the inside rail and it was a fine effort to get within a length and a half of the winner. The Robert Stephens-trained seven-year-old now has form figures over 2m3f-3m in handicap hurdles of 13112 (3-5) and could be hard to kick out of the frame. Ben Jones, on board for his last two wins, was missing for that Taunton run but is back in the saddle this afternoon. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back WOT YOU WEARING in Sandown 4.10
