Paris Saint-Germain Want Julian Nagelsmann To Be Next Manager With Christophe Galtier Set To Leave

Julian Nagelsmann is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to become their new manager with current boss Christophe Galtier set to be sacked despite leading them to Ligue 1 title.

Nagelsmann In Line For PSG Job

Galtier is another PSG manager who has failed to deliver a Champions League trophy to the city, and is set to face the axe.

Nagelsmann has been a target of both Chelsea and Tottenham in recent months, but it appears his next move will be with the French champions.

The German was most recently Bayern Munich boss but looks set for a return to management.

He is also reportedly set to make Arsenal and France legend Thierry Henry his assistant. Henry has previously managed in the league, taking charge of Monaco in 2018, but only won four games out of 20 played.

Henry, 45, also had a brief spell in charge of MLS outfit Montreal Impact and was also Roberto Martinez’s assistant for the Belgium national team on two occasions.

It’s set to be a huge summer in the French capital, with Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi both confirmed to be leaving. Neymar could also be leaving after six years at the club.

Jose Mourinho amongst others have been names rumoured to be in line for the job, however Nagelsmann looks the likeliest as of now.
