SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 EPSOM RACING TIPS: This has been a good race for the Hannon camp over the years – winning the prize three times since 2013. The run two – The Camden Colt, with Ryan Moore riding, and also Haatem who just edges it. This 2 year-old bolted-up at Bath the last day to win by 6 lengths and despite this being a step up looks a speedy performer with more to come. Of the rest, Maymay looks to be going the right way after two runs and was a close second at HQ last time and being a filly gets a handy 10lbs from most.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 EPSOM RACING TIPS: The consistent All The King’s Men is expected to be in the mix for the Buick/Boughey combo that won this race last year too. But the call is to side with Austrian Theory for the Johnston camp after showing signs the last day at Chester that he’s returning to form. He ran third that day and remains on a mark of 91, which looks fair considering he was rated 101 this time last year. Two Tempting can go best of those at bigger prices from a nice draw in 2.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 EPSOM HORSE RACING TIPS: Just the 5 runners for this Group One which at first glance looks disappointing. However, with 4 of the runners closely-matched it should be a decent renewal still. Last year’s Derby third Westover and Oaks runner-up Emily Upjohn can go well, but Godolphin’s Hurricane Lane is overlooked with the Charlie Appleby yard a tad out of form. So, that leaves us with Point Lonsdale for the Aidan O’Brien yard, who has won this race 8 times before.
He was a narrow winner of the Huxley Stakes last time out at Chester and has now won 6 of his 8 career starts. This will also be his first try over 1m4f, but being by former Epsom Derby winner Australia has the breeding to suggest it will suit. Ryan Moore rides.

SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 EPSOM HORSE RACING TIPS: Being drawn 9 or lower has helped over the years in this race, while 5 of the last 6 winners have also carried 9-2 or more. Therefore, three horses that standout are Masekela, Cadillac and Savvy Victory. The last-named will be ridden by Ryan Moore and just edges it and a fine second last time at Chester and before that wasn’t disgraced when beaten just over 4 lengths in a Listed race at Kempton.

4:30 – Betfred Oaks (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Fillies) Cl1 (3yo) 1m4f ITV
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 EPSOM HORSE RACING TIPS: Aidan O’Brien goes in search of his eleventh Epsom Oaks win and in recent Cheshire Oaks winner Savethelastdance he’s got a big chance. The horse bolted up 22 lengths that day and looks a very nice filly in the making. However, the jury is out on what she actually beat that day and the better value and better form looks to be with Soul Sister.
This John Gosden runner bounced back to form to take the Musidora Stakes last time at York under Frankie Dettori and has now won 2 of her 3 starts. She’s up to 1m4f here for the first time, but this Frankel filly can improve again for the longer trip after travelling well into the race last time and winning in the end by 4 lengths.
The other Gosden entry Running Lion, who impressed to win the Pretty Polly Stakes last time, can also run well.
