Cheltenham Lucky 15 Tips On Sunday 19th November 2023

You can back our four best bets at Cheltenham on Day 3 of the November Meeting (Sunday 19th November 2023) in a Lucky 15 bet at BetMGM, who have a generous sign-up offer ready to be claimed with £30 in horse racing free bets.

1:45pm – Cheltenham Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase (GBB Race) Cl3 (4yo+) 2m4f ITV: RAILWAY HURRICANE @ 3/1

Kicking off our Cheltenham Lucky 15 tips on Sunday is a selection in this competitive 2m4f chase and we’re siding with RAILWAY HURRICANE.

The Gavin Cromwell-trained bay gelding came agonisingly close to winning this race last year, coming second to Unanswered Prayers. The eight-year-old has been in strong form this season, with a win over in Ireland and two strong runs recently, including last month at Cheltenham.

Just a three-pound rise in the weights for Railway Hurricane, which is more than achievable for him. Sean Flanagan is given the ride, with a decent 11% strike rate in the past two weeks. He knows that provided he can get Railway Hurricane away unhampered the first few jumps, he has ever chance of a big win here.

2:20pm – Jewson Handicap Chase (Premier Handicap) (GBB Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 3m3½f ITV: FLASH COLLONGES @ 13/2

Our next selection is FLASH COLLONGES, who looks a strong shout from Paul Nicholls’ yard for a win here. Jockey Harry Cobden takes the reigns, like he did for the French horses win at Newbury back in March.

Has been in red hot form of late prior to that fall at Ayr last time out, and will be hopeful of bouncing back in a big way this weekend at Cheltenham. This is a longer trip by four furlongs than his last win, but Flash Collonges certainly looks a type that will relish the extra run.

This is a highly competitive race that you can make a case for multiple horses in.

2:55pm – Shloer Chase (Registered As The Cheltenham Chase) (Grade 2) (GBB Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 2m ITV: JONBON @ 4/7

The third selection in our Cheltenham Lucky 15 tips on Sunday is JONBON. The impressive seven-year-old needs no real introduction, having won all but one of his five chases and 10/12 in his extremely successful racing career to date.

A caveat could be that the only two races he hasn’t won have both been at Cheltenham. However, he has won at Aintree multiple times, Ascot, Sandown, Newbury more than once and Haydock too. He really is a phenomenal horse and is the one to beat here in the Shloer Chase.

Will have to be on his A-game to beat former Arkle winner Edwardstone and back-to-back Shloer Chase winner Nube Negra, but he should have too much for them all here.

3:30pm – Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle (Premier Handicap) (GBB Race) Cl1 (4yo+) 2m½f ITV: IBERICO LORD @ 8/1

And to finish off our Cheltenham Lucky 15 on Sunday is Nicky Henderson’s IBERICO LORD. Nico de Boinville is given the ride as usual, and will be confident of another winner here on board the five-year-old.

He has won once over hurdles, which came back in April at Stratford. Since then he put in a stellar showing at Sandown earlier this year, and looks to get back in the winners circle this time around. Ran in the 2022 Cheltenham November Meeting last year, fnishing sixth in the Supreme Trial Novices’ Hurdle.

Has come on extremely well since then, and will be hopeful of a positive return to Cheltenham racecourse. Is currently the second favourite and can put it right up to the Willie Mullins-trained Onlyamatteroftime who is the current favourite, but is totally out of form.

What Is a Lucky 15 Bet?

If you are not sure what a Lucky 15 bet is – let us explain.

In short, a Lucky 15 bet will involve 4 HORSES and these picks are permed up in singles, doubles, trebles and a 4-fold accumulator.

With the four horses, there are 15 bets across four different selections – hence where the name ‘Lucky 15’ comes from.

Therefore, the more of your four horses to win, means a bigger return. While if only one horse wins, then you are left with just one of the 15 bets – a single.

The Lucky 15 Bet Perms are: 4 single bets, 6 doubles, 4 trebles, and 1 four-fold accumulator.
