Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the jumps action at Huntingdon and Chepstow for his two recommended bets/trades on Sunday, March 17th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

HUNTINGDON 2.42

ROCCOVANGO will be popular in the betting after his neck second to Nordic Tiger over 2m here on February 8th but the ground was utterly desperate that day and the race might have left its mark. Of the 11 horses who finished first or second at that meeting to run since, ten were beaten at the next time of asking, often at short prices (the winner was 6-4), and Olly Murphy’s eight-year-old might struggle to break his duck. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose ROCCOVANGO in Huntingdon 2.42

CHEPSTOW 3.35

THOR DE CERISY bounced back to form over course and distance last time, scoring by almost five lengths from Walkinthewoods in a five-runner contest. The size of the field is important to Neil Mulholland’s ten-year-old – his three wins over obstacles have come in single-digit line-ups – and with conditions in his favour once more, he’s likely to prove hard to beat. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back THOR DE CERISY in Chepstow 3.35
