Noble Yeats Heads 85 Entries For 2023 Grand National

12 months ago, the Emmet Mullins-trained Noble Yeats become the youngest horse to win the Grand National since 1940, when the 7 year-old powered home under jockey Sam Waley-Cohen, and he’s set to be back to defend his crown on April 15th having been entered at the latest declaration stage.

Noble Yeats tops 85 possible 2023 Grand National runners for the ‘Merseyside Marathon’ in just over two months, but before taking up his defence he’s set to run in the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival, where he’s currently @ 7/1 with BetUK.

Last year’s winner is also the 2023 Grand National favourite @ 12/1 with BetUK if you fancy the 8 year-old to repeat the feat.

Last Year’s Grand National Winner Up 20lbs In The Ratings

Noble Yeats won the 2022 Grand National rated 147 and carried 10st 10lb to victory that day, but having improved to win that Aintree contest and also land the Grade Two Many Clouds Chase at Aintree back in December, the handicapper has raised the Emmet Mullins horse to a mark of 167 – 20lbs higher.

However, despite this hike in the weights, he’s still likely to be one of the leading Grand National betting tips for the 2023 race – especially when the ‘once-a-year’ National punters remember his name.
