Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Taunton and the evening all-weather action at Southwell for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, March 26th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

SOUTHWELL JOCKEYS

JAMIE SPENCER is choosing his mounts carefully nowadays and we’d have made a good profit by backing him blind in the past 12 month or so. He tends not to venture out on the all-weather very often and his sole ride on synthetics for Robert Cowell in the past year resulted in a 10-1 winner at Lingfield. Spencer rode the yard’s CLOUD KING at Yarmouth back in September (a run he needed for a handicap mark) but blasted off into the headwind  and was never going to last home over the 6f trip. The three-year-old has been gelded over the winter and is going to prove hard to beat in the 5f handicap (5.15). Spencer also has short-priced favourite ASINARA in the 6.15, as well as 4-1 shot CHOLA EMPIRE – first and third from two runs here – in the 6.45 and a buy of his performance index in the SOUTHWELL JOCKEYS market looks the play. Fixed odds punters can combine is rides in a multiple bet.

Recommendation: Buy JAMIE SPENCER in Southwell Jockeys

TAUNTON 4.50

COME ON DU BERLAIS is loitering near the head of the market for this 2m5.5f handicap chase despite her one from 14 career record and a tendency to find little for pressure. The six-year-old jumped moderately and finished weakly when a modest third at Ludlow on last month’s chase debut and can be taken on once more. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose COME ON DU BERLAIS in Taunton 4.50
