Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the televised all-weather meeting at Lingfield for his two recommended bets/trades on Saturday, January 20th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

LINGFIELD JOCKEYS

JASON HART has a good book of rides at Lingfield on Saturday, commencing with REVOLUTIONISE in the opener. Hart has ridden the Stuart Williams-trained veteran on eight previous occasions, clocking four wins and two seconds. One of those runner-up efforts came at 16-1 in this race last year when he was unlucky to bump into well-handicapped winner All The King’s Men. The form of BALON D’OR’s (12.50) Kempton third received a boost when the runner-up went one better next time and Hugo Palmer’s three-year-old looks a likely improver on his first run after a gelding operation. John Quinn-trained pair TROPEZ POWER (2.00) and LORD RIDDIFORD (2.35) both have place prospects and a buy of JASON HART in the LINGFIELD JOCKEYS market is the call. Fixed odds punters might want to combine his mounts in a multiple bet.

Recommendation: Back JASON HART in Lingfield Jockeys

LINGFIELD 3.45

At the time of writing SMITH was a big price for this 2m handicap but the Lydia Richards-trained veteran is six from 12 over course and distance and six from six when starting at single-figure odds. He’s finished unplaced here in both starts this winter but those runs were probably needed after a six-month break and he’s worth chancing, especially with his yard in good form (winners at 11-2 and 4-1 from their last two runners). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back SMITH in Lingfield 3.45
