The Open Tee Times
Heading into The 151st Open Championship, there are so many narratives that could play out across the four days of golf at Hoylake. Not only that, but there are so many players in with a chance of being victorious come Sunday afternoon. None more so than last week’s Scottish Open winner and four-time major champion, Rory McIlroy.
McIlroy is the bookies favourite here with the best golf betting sites favouring him to win a second Claret Jug nine years on from his last Open Championship triumph. He is the outright favourite with the best sports betting apps to reign supreme on the hallowed turf of Royal Liverpool – the course he won his only previous Open Championship at back in 2014.
Some of the featured groups that will have the most eyes on them will be the likes of reigning champion Cameron Smith alongside US Open winner Wyndham Clark and world number six Xander Schauffele.
The two most highly anticipated groups are McIlroy alongside Ryder Cup team-mates Jon Rahm and Justin Rose, as well as Tommy Fleetwood grouped with Scottie Scheffler and Adam Scott.
The in-form Rickie Fowler tees off at 10:09am as he plays alongside Shane Lowry and Robert MacIntyre. Patrick Cantlay is grouped with Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama.
In total, 156 players will be teeing it up on Thursday afternoon (BST) in a bid to get their Open off the the best possible start. Here are The 151st Open Championship tee times for each and every group on Thursday 20th July – Day 1 of the tournament.
