West Ham are 20/1 to be relegated to the Championship after losing to Man City at the Eithad. What do the bookies price West Ham relegation odds?

West Ham have a four point cushion over the relegation zone and after losing to Man City, they’re still looking over their shoulder.

Their game against City wasn’t one they were expected to win, but they started well. West Ham held strong in the first half, holding off City. However, they couldn’t do this forever as City continued to push.

Despite their heroics, it was Nathan Ake who managed to breach the West Ham defence. Shortly after the free scoring Erling Haaland scored his record-breaking goal. The two goals led to West Ham relegation odds shortening.

Premier League survival for a club the size of West Ham is crucial. They’ve got a squad full of Premier League talent, many of which will believe they should be playing in the top half of the league. If they were to drop a division, it’s hard to see many of those players staying.

Luckily, with four games left they’re four points clear of the drop zone. Two more victories should see them staying up. One more victory should do big favours for the West Ham relegation odds.

Another thing that’s done a favour for the West Ham relegation odds is their remaining games. Their final two games are against teams in the relegation battle in Leeds United and Leicester City.

David Moyes will have to be wary of his squad selection as with his side still in the Europa Conference League.
