Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew successfully opposed CONCETTO (5th, 100-30f) on Wednesday and has two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, April 25th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

PERTH 4.10

CEPAGE returned to form with an easy victory in first-time cheekpieces in a nine-runner veterans’ handicap chase at Cheltenham in December and his subsequent form figures of PPP8 (0-4) can be attributed to the unsuitability of big fields. The Venetia Williams-trained 12-year-old has form figures in fields of ten or less of 1F3323412114741 (5-15) for a profit of £24.25 to a £1 level stake at SP, as compared to 42467P40PPP8 (0-12) in larger line-ups. He faces just four rivals today and can be bought at 9 in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or backed at 12-1 in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back CEPAGE in Perth 4.10

HUNTINGDON 4.35

KENNACK BAY is a ten-race maiden who fell at Newton Abbot in June 2022 on his latest chase outing. Ben Pauling’s nine-year-old also tipped up over hurdles on one occasion and his jumping has to be a major worry for backers in this 12-runner handicap chase on the back of a 674-day absence. Sell in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to side with Alan King’s HEY BROTHER, a likely improver now switching to handicap chase company in first-time headgear.

Recommendation: Oppose KENNACK BAY in Huntingdon 4.35
