Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the afternoon jumps meeting at Newbury for his two recommended bets/trades on Friday, March 22nd. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

NEWBURY 2.00

SECRET INVESTOR was fortunate to win at Fakenham last month – he was six lengths down in second place when left clear at the last fence – but usually struggles in the November to February period and is best judged on his record under rules from March to October of 2111111F11 (8-10) for a profit of £17.59 to a £1 level stake at SP. The Paul Nicholls-trained 12-year-old is lightly raced for his age and, with the drying ground to suit, can defeat young rivals in this hunters’ chase. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back SECRET INVESTOR in Newbury 2.00

NEWBURY 2.30

MOFASA, another Paul Nicholls’ inmate, has a good record when fresh and is taken to bounce back from a disappointing effort in mid-December when we last saw him. The eight-year-old has only had three runs for his current trainer since leaving the care of Michael Scudamore, finding only Broadway Boy (now rated 150) too good at Worcester, winning at Huntingdon and finishing a modest fifth at Cheltenham when reportedly making a respiratory noise. Since racing over obstacles, his record on his first two runs each season or when rested for eight weeks or longer stands at 113021 (3-6), improving to 1121 (3-4) below Grade 2 level. The wind operation and 97-day break can contribute to a much-improved effort this afternoon. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back MOFASA in Newbury 2.30
