Premier League Fixtures For Week 7 (30th Sept-2nd Oct 2023)
The Premier League fixtures hot foot into ‘week 7’ this weekend with the matches spread over three days (Saturday to Monday).
We’ve the return of the Saturday 12:30pm lunchtime match as two in-form sides – Aston Villa and Brighton – lock horns and with the Midlands club taking six points off the Seagulls last season, they will be hoping for more of the same.
Then we’ve six 3pm Premier League matches on Saturday that include Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, who only met in midweek in the EFL Cup, plus Arsenal make the trip south to face Bournemouth in a fixture the Gunners won 3-0 last season.
We also see the champions Manchester City in another 3pm clash as they look to continue their perfect start to the campaign with an away trip to Wolves – with six of the last seven head-to-heads seeing 3+ goals, we should be in for plenty of action.
The Saturday 5:30pm offering is arguably the highlight of the ‘week 7’ games as Tottenham host Liverpool. It’s a matchup that’s see 10 of the last 13 produce 3+ goals, while Liverpool’s Mo Salah netted three times vs Spurs last season.
Onto Sunday, and just the one match this week on the ‘day of rest’ as Nottingham Forest welcome Brentford to the City Ground – with the Bees having won five of their last eight away at Forest, could they be buzzing back to London with three points?
While, the eagle-eyed will also notice there is NO Sunday 4:30pm Premier League game – find out why here.
The Premier League ‘week 7’ action concludes on Monday night with a local derby that sees Chelsea make the short trip to face neighbours Fulham. The Blues have lost just one of their last 22 vs the Cottagers – but that sole defeat did come in this repeat fixture last term.
We give you some key stats to take into each ‘week 7’ Premier League match.
