The first race for the Friday Jason Weaver York Ebor Festival tips sees him back Intinso in the 1.50pm for John & Thady Gosden with jockey Hollie Doyle in the saddle.
Intinso ran an excellent race in the Shergar Cup Classic at Ascot and considering how keen he was in the early stages, he did incredibly well to finish a close-up third, only getting tired well inside the final furlong.
Given the form of the team and also his three-year-old weight for age allowance, he’s got to go well.
2:25pm – Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup (British Champions Series Race) Group 2 2m ITV: GIAVELLOTTO @ 13/2 with BetUK
Jason Weaver’s second tip on Friday at York sees him back the Marco Botti-trained Giavellotto in the 2:25pm as a 13/2 outsider with the best horse racing betting apps.
Giavelotto was very impressive at this venue earlier on in the season, and was given plenty of ground to make up when running last time in the Goodwood Cup under difficult conditions.
On much quicker ground that is definitely going to suit, he can be produced fast and late and announce himself in the staying division.

Next up for ‘The Weaver Shark’ is Johnannes Brahms in the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Gimcrack Stakes. Ryan Moore is given the ride here on the Aidan O’Brien trained horse, priced at 9/4 with the best horse racing betting sites.
For Weaver, Johannes Brahms was arguably unlucky when chasing home Big Evs in the Windsor Castle Stakes last time as he was slowly away and pushed back in the early stages.
He then made up a lot of ground in the middle of the contest to finish a clear-cut second. Stepping up to 6f now and given a smooth passage in running, he’s going to serve it up to the favourite, Kylian.

Jason Weaver’s fourth selection on Friday at York comes in the big one – the Nunthorpe Stakes. ‘Chappers’ is going with the impressive second favourite and is backing Bradsell at 4/1 with the best handicap betting sites.
Bradsell brings in a very enviable profile, being a dual Royal Ascot winner, and also having form over this course as well. He has always been the apple of his trainer’s eye and can notch another Group One victory in what is a very open sprinting division.
He also has the advantage of being drawn in the middle of the pack (stall 9) so can decide to track the pace wherever it appears.

Amanzoe was a massive improver last season, climbing all the way from a mark of 69 to a rating of 98 and still doesn’t look as if he has reached his peak. He’s been kept for this meeting by his handler William Haggas and he has a Group 2 entry coming up.
Connections obviously feel he’s soon going to be racing out of handicap company at a higher level.
