2023 Cheltenham Festival Tips: BETTER DAYS AHEAD @ 12/1 with BetUK
Trainer Gordon Elliott is expected to have a strong hand in the Cheltenham Festival Weatherbys Champion Bumper. The County Meath handler is likely to have five runners and with top amateur Jamie Codd often getting the pick of them, it’s interesting that he’s already decided which one to ride.
Elliott has won two of the last six runnings of the Champion Bumper and ‘the Codd-Father’ has ridden them both!
Gordon Elliott told the Sporting Life “I’ll probably run five in the bumper and Jamie Codd has picked Better Days Ahead. He looks to have a great chance”.
This year Jamie Codd, who is a punters favourite at the meeting, has decided to ride Elliott’s BETTER DAYS AHEAD.
This 5 year-old was last seen bolting up at Fairyhouse back in December (watch below) and has since been kept fresh for his big day at Cheltenham on Weds March 15th.
The horse is currently @ 10/1, but with Jamie Codd in the saddle it will be a major shock if this Gordon Elliott Cheltenham runner is not a lot shorter come the day.
