ITV Racing Boxing Day: Six Races To Be Shown LIVE From Kempton, Aintree and Wetherby

Boxing Day is always a busy day for sporting fans, including horse racing lovers – who will be ‘champing at the bit’ after two days of no equine action.

Horse racing is back with a bang on Boxing Day though, with the big festive horse race of the month – the King George VI Chase, which will be aired at 2:30pm from Kempton Park.

The great news is the ITV racing Boxing Day schedule will include the King George Chase, as well as three other races from the Sunbury-on-Thames track (see below).

12 months ago we saw the Paul Nicholls-trained Bravemansgame win the King George and he’s been popular with the best online betting sites to follow-up. Nicholls will be looking for his fourteenth win in the Boxing Day showcase race, while he’ll also have his old-timer Frodon, who won the prize in 2020.

To help find the winner – see Andy Newton’s King George Chase trends here to help put history and the stats in your betting corner.

On Boxing Day, the ITV racing cameras are also at Aintree to take in the old Tolworth Hurdle – now named the William Hill Formby Novices’ Hurdle. And are also at Wetherby to broadcast the William Hill Rowland Meyrick Handicap Chase.

Meaning horse racing fans will have six ITV races to work into their Boxing Days schedules – with a lot of punters likely to be setting alarms on their phones to quickly nip away from the in-laws to watch the action.
