Guinea vs Senegal Preview and Prediction
Senegal are the current AFCON champions, after beating Egypt on penalties in 2021 and the holders are on track to retain their title.
Aliou Cisse’s side have won their first two matches, beating Cameroon and Gambia in convincing fashion – conceding just one goal.
Similarly, Guinea have not lost in the competition so far, beating Gambia and drawing with Cameroon – meaning all they need is a point to progress.
Guinea have not beaten Senegal in their last three encounters and you need to go back to 2017 to find Guinea’s last win in 90 minutes.
With that said, we expect the 2021 champions to come out victorious on Tuesday evening and pick up a convincing win over Guinea.

Guinea vs Senegal Tip One: Over 1.5 Goals @ 4/7
Both of Senegal’s matches in the group stages have gone over 1.5 goals, in fact they have exceeded 2.5 goals on both occasions.
Guinea’s last match ended in a 1-0 victory, however, prior to this four of their last five matches in all competitions had seen at least 1.5 goals.
After analysing these stats, we believe this match is destined to see a host of chances and fulfill the criteria of over 1.5 goals.

The current holders of AFCON have already made their way into the next stages of the competition – picking up six points from the opening two matches.
