So, with that in mind, who from Liverpool should be going into your Fantasy Premier League squad?

1. Mohamed Salah (£12.5m)

Obviously in at number one is the Egyptian superstar, Mohamed Salah, who once again cemented himself as one of the best attackers in Premier League history.

The former Chelsea player scored 19 goals and contributed with 13 assists in the Premier League last season, proving his worth yet again.

A move to Saudi Arabia was rumoured during the summer, however, Salah has remained at Anfield for another season and is must-have for FPL users.

2. Trent Alexander-Arnold (£8m)

Next on the list is England international, Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has been a constant presence in FPL squads for years now.

The defender registered 13 goal contributions last season and has not dropped below 10 since the 2017-2018 campaign.

Klopp has utilised the 24-year-old in a different position as of late, dropping into midfield when in possession, meaning the opportunity for more goals has increased.

3. Darwin Nunez (£7.5m)

The Reds signed Darwin Nunez in the summer of last year for around £75m and his opening campaign was far from ideal.

Injuries and mixed performances meant that the Uruguayan failed to cement a place in Liverpool’s starting side, however, Nunez did manage to contribute with 14 goals.

This season could be the year of Darwin Nunez, after the young striker’s stellar form in pre-season and the departure of Roberto Firmino.

4. Domink Szoboszlai (£7m)

The Hungarian joined the club from RB Leipzig in the opening weeks of the summer window, for a whopping £70m and has been tipped to achieve huge things.

During his time in Germany, the 22-year-old contributed to 42 goals in 91 appearances and demonstrated a keen eye for goal from a midfield position.

Additionally, the youngster boasts an impressive skill-set when it comes to set pieces, which is always a bonus when selecting FPL players.

5. Alexis Mac Allister (£6m)

Finally, the last Liverpool player that should be in your FPL considerations is World Cup winner, Alexis Mac Allister. The Argentinian signed from Brighton for just £35m and is sure to be one of the first names on Jurgen Klopp’s team sheet.

Last season was an extremely impressive year for the midfielder, as he contributed to 12 goals under Roberto De Zerbi and Graham Potter.

Mac Allister was the designated penalty take for Brighton and after Mohamed Salah missed two penalties last season – the Argentine may be in contention for Liverpool.
