The 2023 Cheltenham Festival ITV coverage has been announced – with the popular racing channel set to broadcast the first FIVE races LIVE each day.

The first five races each day at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival will be shown LIVE on ITV.

As always, the curtain will go up on the Festival with the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle (1:30pm) on Tuesday 14th March.

The ITV Racing cameras will beam the action LIVE from the opening five Cheltenham races each day (see below). While the remaining two contests being shown on Racing TV – or you can find out below how to stream these non-ITV races below.

Looking at the coverage, the other big thing to note is that Wednesday’s opening race – the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle will be on ITV4.

Cheltenham Festival Opening Show Will Be On Each Morning Too

In addition to the afternoon live coverage, the ITV Racing team will also continue with their ‘Opening Show’ programme. This will be hosted by Oli Bell on ITV 4 and run for 90 minutes from 9am each morning of the Festival.

Ed Chamberlin will front the main afternoon action, with former Grand National winning jockeys – Ruby Walsh, AP McCoy and Mick Fitzgerald on show to give their expert analysis.
