Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Antony, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay will all miss his side’s Premier League tie against Leeds on Wednesday.

Ten Hag confirmed his side’s injury list conducted his pre-match press conference before the Old Trafford clash on Wednesday night in addition to being without the suspended Casemiro.

United take on rivals Leeds twice in just five days, playing the reverse fixture at Elland Road on Sunday.

Just yesterday Leeds confirmed the sacking of head-coach Jesse Marsch, following defeat to Nottingham Forest, with Chris Armas heading up a three-man coaching team for the Whites’ upcoming fixtures.

Manchester United come into the match in third place in the Premier League table, as Leeds sit in 17th, level on points with 18th place Everton.

Erik ten Hag’s Comments

Ahead of the tie, ten Hag was questioned on the availability of Martial and McTominay, as the pair missed Saturday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The United boss confirmed that the pair would still be missing, as well as Brazilian winger Antony.

“They [Martial and McTominay] are not involved tomorrow,” said Ten Hag.

“And the same with Antony dos Santos. He is also not available for tomorrow so we have to sort that out.”

“After a game I can’t say ‘Casemiro is not there, Anthony Martial is not there’.

“We have to win. Manchester United are capable and we have to win the games no matter who is on the pitch. I always have to deal with the players who are available. We have a group, we have a lot of good players in our squad.”

Premier League betting sites have Man Utd priced at around 9/20 to defeat Leeds, as the visitors are priced at around 5/1 to win.
