Todd Boehly is looking to continue his spending spree at Chelsea, with the Blues showing their interest in Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian has taken the Serie A by storm this season, contributing to 23 goals in 22 matches in the league. His pace, positioning and ruthlessness has put Europe high alert, as rumours of a possible transfer have started to circulate.
His electric form has put Napoli at the top of the table, 18 points clear of Inter in second place. His performances have crossed over to the Champions League, scoring four goals in five matches which includes a brace against Frankfurt in their round of 16 second-leg.
One team that are reported to be interested is Premier League big-spenders, Chelsea. Todd Boehly has spent over half a billion pounds since taking over last year and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. The Napoli player would cost over £100m, which Chelsea spent on record signing Enzo Fernandez in January.

However, the Blues will face tough competition for the 24-year-old’s signature, with Manchester United and Real Madrid also showing interest in the striker. Erik ten Hag has been after a striker since arriving in Manchester, with loanee Wout Weghorst being deemed a temporary addition.
Osimhen has expressed his thoughts on the variety of rumours that have surrounded him over recent weeks, giving an unclear answer about his future,
The Nigeria international said: “I don’t know what the future holds. At the end of the season, I will sit down with my agents and discuss. I will also be in talks with Napoli.”
