American tech company Apple are reportedly interested in buying Manchester United after the Glazers effectively put the club up for sale earlier this week.
United confirmed the shocking news that the world’s biggest football club is all but up for sale in a statement on Tuesday, and Avram Glazer has spoken out for the first time since this and the Cristiano Ronaldo interview went viral.

This would be the first major sports team that the California-based tech company has owned, as the major commercial opportunities are said to be a major reason behind their interest in the club.
The Red Devils are reportedly worth £5.8billion, however Apple aren’t the only party interested in the club…
Now CEO of Twitter Elon Musk jokingly tweeted saying he’d be up for buying the club, which received a ton of traction back in August.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor was also vocal on Twitter in the past about his eagerness to buy the club.
