Thomas Frank Identifies Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Taiwo Awoniyi As Key Threats

Ahead of his sides clash with Nottingham Forest, Thomas Frank has picked out Nottingham Forest’s key threats.

Frank’s side come into this game on the back of two Premier League defeats against Newcastle United and Everton.

Now they face a Nottingham Forest side who have had a mixed start to their season, but are looking like they’ve improved after surviving the drop last season.

Frank highlighted Anthony Elanga, Morgan Gibbs-White, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Taiwo Awoniyi as the main threats for Nottingham Forest. The front four have been in good form so far this season, especially given they lost their star man, Brennan Johnson, over the summer.

Ahead of the game, Frank said:

“Awoniyi is a very good striker and Gibbs-White is a very good number 10.

“We all know Hudson-Odoi’s talent and Elanga is a very good winger.

“That front four is very good. They will try to control the game but we also know that the four of them are very good on the break.”

It’s clear Frank has done his research with his staff ahead of the game. Nottingham Forest will utilise the counter-attack because of the attacking threats and creativity they have in their front line.

The Forest attacking line will be ready to test Frank and his side this weekend.
