Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to Taunton and Wolverhampton (all-weather) for his two recommended bets/trades on Tuesday, February 6th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

TAUNTON 2.50

Nicky Henderson’s BOLD REACTION ran second in the opening 2m3f novices’ hurdle on this card last year, finding only the 125-rated Paul Nicholls-trained favourite Holetown Hero too good. The seven-year-old has still to win over hurdles but the cut back to 2m looks ideal and the good ground is very much in his favour. He runs of a handicap mark of 116 today and it will be disappointing if he doesn’t go close at least. Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back BOLD REACTION in Taunton 2.50

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.50

EAGLE’S REALM will understandably be all the rage for this 1m6f handicap after his win at Southwell last night but I’d rather chance Gary Brown’s EASTER ICON on his first start since leaving the care of Jack Channon. His new yard has a respectable recent record with stable switchers – the last two qualifiers produced a winner (7-1) and a second (11-4) – and the five-year-old, off the track since October, has some useful form after a break. Last year his record when fresh (first two runs or when rested for more than a month) stood at 2111 (3-4). Buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back EASTER ICON in Wolverhampton 4.50
