Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew heads to the jumps meetings at Clonmel and Catterick for his two recommended bets/trades on Thursday, January 11th. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

CLONMEL 2.10

THEGINGRIN will be popular after her third place at Tramore last time, but she raced wide on the better ground and may have been flattered. Gordon Elliott’s seven-year-old finished unplaced at odds of 7-1 and 15-8 in her two other starts under rules and could prove vulnerable again. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market. Fixed odds punters might want to risk a small each-way bet on BACKFROMTHERACES, who hinted at ability when down the field in the same Tramore race as Thegingrin, despite racing in the ‘swamp’ on the inside rail.

Recommendation: Oppose THEGINGRIN in Clonmel 2.10

CATTERICK 2.30

TRACK AND TRACE has been well found in the overnight market but still looks worth an interest in the 3m6f North Yorkshire Grand National after the form of his last-time-out Carlisle second received a couple of boosts this week. Anglers Crag, the short-head winner of that 3m2f contest, was a winner at Market Rasen 48 hours ago while Fenland Tiger, third when the 13-8 favourite at Carlisle, was successful at Doncaster yesterday. Jonjo O’Neill’s seven-year-old, third in his sole point-to-point outing, remains unexposed after just two runs over regulation fences and rates a buy in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Back TRACK AND TRACE in Catterick 2.30
