Spreadex offers both normal fixed odds betting plus spread betting on horse racing. There are some key differences between this form of gambling and placing regular fixed odds bets. Get the calls right and punters could win big, but the potential to lose money can be much higher. Intrigued? Then check out this how to spread bet on horse racing guide:

Andrew was two from two on Sunday thanks to his sell of of 5-1 shot NO FLIES ON HIM (7th) and a buy of BROTHER DAVE (WON 11-4). He has two more recommended bets/trades on Monday, April 1st. Follow his tips this week and all year round on horse racing betting sites with the lowdown on his latest picks below:

HUNTINGDON 12.35

I’m surprised to see CATLIN trading at single-figure odds (8-1 at the time of writing) for this 2m7.5f mares’ handicap chase as the nine-year-old jumped poorly in the re-applied cheekpieces before pulling up at Southwell last time and is now tried in first-time blinkers. The first-time visor didn’t aid her jumping at Leicester in March 2022 where she jumped out to her left before unseating three out. Throw in a clear preference for Newcastle – here record there reads 111P (0-4) whereas she’s 0-27 at other venues – and she looks worth opposing. Sell in the Spreadex 50-25-10 market.

Recommendation: Oppose CATLIN in Huntingdon 12.35

REDCAR 3.04

Nigel Tinkler has his string in good form, with his six runners in the past fortnight recording form figures if 431133 (2-6), with the wins at 14-1 and 4-1. He’s mob-handed at Redcar today where one of his more interesting runners is DOUGIES DREAM in this 1m Class 5 handicap. The five-year-old’s latest win came over the round mile at Doncaster, but his three other victories came over a straight mile like today’s, including over course and distance in April 2022. His two turf wins came on good and good to soft going but the son of Fast Company is bred to appreciate the mud and hasn’t had many opportunities on soft/heavy ground. He’s fit from a couple of runs on the all-weather and has won third or fourth time up for the last two seasons. Buy in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market or take a fixed odds price.

Recommendation: Back DOUGIES DREAM in Redcar 3.04
