The return to a right-handed track also looks a good idea but the Kim Bailey yard continues to struggle, sending out just one winner from 40 runners this year, and he looks under-priced. Fixed odds pointers might like to side with TAHMURAS, back to form in the headgear at Aintree last time, and play him in a forecast with overnight mover KING OF RYHOPE.

I’ve bet ASK ME EARLY in this veterans’ handicap chase but he’s the type of horse who could win or pull up, so is not the ideal vehicle for buyers in the Spreadex 50-30-20-10 market. However, one who fits the bill is Victor Dartnall’s consistent RUN TO MILAN, whose record on right-handed tracks reads 1212P2431321372442 (four wins from 18 starts), including Exeter figures of 21431321442 (3-11). He could get a relatively easy time of things at the head of affairs, despite the big field, and it will be disappointing if he isn’t in the frame.
Recommendation: Back RUN TO MILAN in Exeter 4.35
