Bayern Munich have tested the waters when it comes to Harry Kane’s availability this summer, and as expected Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has remained resolute when it comes to his prized asset.

The Bundesliga champions have so far been rebuffed on two occasions, with their latest bid totalling around £70m.

The departure of Robert Lewandowski last summer left a sizeable hole at the spearhead of their attack, and Bayern are expected to return to the table with a third offer, believed to be in excess of £80m.

It is unclear where Harry Kane’s heart lies, with several reports indicating he would be open to a move this summer. England’s all-time record goalscorer managed 30 goals in the Premier League, which would have been enough to win the Golden Boot in any of the previous five seasons.

It is clear this kind of goalscoring return is few and far between in Europe, and another of the continent’s domestic champions, PSG, also appear eager to test Tottenham’s resolve.

French outlet RMC Sport claim that the Parisians have have already sent a delegation to London to negotiate a deal with Spurs.

It even goes as far as saying chairman Daniel Levy was present during discussions, with PSG prepared to table an initial £85m bid.

New Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglu recently confirmed he has received ‘no assurances’ over Kane’s future at the club, but it is widely expected that Levy will not back down over his valuation, which is thought to be closer to £100m for the 29-year-old.
