Paul Nicholls Net Worth: Ditcheat Trainer Worth Over £5million

Since the early 2000’s, Paul Nicholls has been one of the most successful horse racing trainers in his generation with over 3,500 winners to his name.

He has become the leading National Hunt trainer in Britain alongside the likes of Nicky Henderson, being crowned British jumps Champion Trainer fourteen times.

Nicholls has been so influential in the sport that he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2020 New Year Honours for his services to horse racing.

The 61-year-old is one of the wealthiest trainers in the industry and the Paul Nicholls net worth stands at around £5million according to allfamousbirthdays.

Alone in the last five seasons, Nicholls’ horses have earned £12,558,521 with 633 wins from 2594 runs, so there’s no surprise as to why his net worth is so high. Of, course NOT all the horse winnings go to Paul Nicholls (unless he owns the horse).

Serial Champion Trainer Has Been Handling Since 1991

Nicholls took out his trainers licence in 1991, and served as an assistant trainer to David Barons and played a part in a Grand National win with Seagram.

He then began his own training operation, starting with just eight horses. Then it wasn’t long before his first winner came, and it was appropriately called Olveston, a horse owned by his father which was named after the village the family hailed from.

Nicholls, who is also the father of popular ITV Racing pundit Megan Nicholls, saddled his first Grade 1 winner in 1993 when See More Indians won the Feltham Novices’ Chase at Kempton Park. The rest is history and the Ditcheat handler has gone on to win plenty of Grade 1 races.
