Paisley Park Odds For Long Walk Hurdle 2023 at Ascot

The Long Walk Hurdle 2022 was moved to Kempton on Boxing Day due to Ascot being called off but that didn’t stop the popular PAISLEY PARK from winning the race for a third time.

This Emma Lavelle-trained 11 year-old is probably now in his last season but he showed last time at Newbury, when a head second in the Long Distance Hurdle, that he’s still loving his racing.

Along with his three wins in this race, he was also third in 2021 – the year one of his old rivals Champ won – and he’ll be taking on the JP McManus horse again this Saturday at Ascot.

If he can defy his age, Paisley Park will become the oldest Long Walk Hurdle winner since the race turned into a Grade 1 in 1971. While if successful he’d also join the legendary French winner Baracouda on four wins in the race.

Paisley Park is yet to finish out of the first three from his trio of runs at Ascot (2 wins).
